§ 18-3. Designation of positions.

(a)

The positions for mayor and city council shall be designated as follows:

(1)

Mayor.

(2)

Councilman, district one.

(3)

Councilman, district two.

(4)

Councilman, district three.

(5)

Councilman, district four.

(6)

Councilman, district five.

(b)

A person qualifying as a candidate for mayor or city council is hereby required to specify the position for which he is a candidate. No person shall be allowed to qualify as a candidate for more than one office.
