§ 46-4. Noise.

The operating, playing or permitting the operation or playing of any radio, television, phonograph, musical instrument, sound amplifier or other device which produces, reproduces or amplifies sound at a distance of greater than 25 feet of any neighboring inhabitants or at any time with louder volume than is necessary for convenient hearing for the person who is in the room or chamber or vehicle or on premises in which such machine or device is operated and who is a voluntary listener hereto is hereby prohibited.
